Yorkville Christian High School will host it's first Athletic Department fundraiser on Thursday, April 24 at 6:00 PM at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club in Yorkville. The "Impact of Sports Banquet" will include a dinner, silent auction, raffles, and a celebrity panel featuring: St. Viator High School soccer and football All-Stater, Jarrett Payton who played professionally for the Tennessee Titans (NFL) and teams in the CFL and IFL , Eric Hipple who played professionally for nine years as the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, and Aurora Christian standout, Marc Davidson who played basketball professionally in Europe for eight years. Auction items include autographed memorabilia from Peyton Manning, Brian Urlacher, Dan Marino, Magic Johnson, Barry Sanders, Bobby Hull, Mike Ditka, Greg Maddux, and many more.
